A blog about a cactus
Nothing much, just a post about a cactus.
I bought a cactus not too long ago from IKEA. It's not very big, probably only 4 inches tall at the most, is very fuzzy, prickly, and for some reason, planted all the way to the left of the pot, not in the center. I bought it because I had not seen anything like it before and it looked like it's wearing a sweater. I had no idea what kind of cactus it was, but I Googled it shortly thereafter and it's called the old man of the Andes. I figured since the cactus didn't cost me much, I could just learn how to care for it and if it died, that's it, it's dead. I had faith in myself because cacti are pretty straightforward, just lightly water monthly or so. A few months later, it's still alive and well and it looks like a little old man.
The cactus as of 3/29/22, it is one of many plants on my shelf.
